Dr. Stacy Y Denney
Dr. Denney is the founder of Denney Veterinary Service. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1984. She worked as an associate veterinarian for 4 years before opening her own practice in 1988. Denney Veterinary Service was built at the current location in 1994. She is certified in animal acupuncture through the Chi Institute.
Dr. Denney has many pets including 4 yorkshire terriers (Tinkerbell, Pixie, Shimmer, Sparkle), 2 very friendly golden retrievers (Noah & Hemi), an energentic standard poodle (Kennedy), and a rescued shitzu named Shitake. She also has one quarter horse (Lexus), 2 mini horses (Isabella & Molly Brown), and an 2 adopted cats (Stella & Mr Prickly Pants). She enjoys camping and spending time with her grandson.
Dr. Matt Burr
- Dr. Burr graduated vet school in 2010 and started working here in 2011. He worked as a Veterinary Technician for 11 years prior to attending Vet School at Michigan State University. Dr. Burr has two Corgie dogs, named "Tater" and "Tot". He also just recently started coaching his daughters soccer team.

Dr. Noreen Heikes
Dr. Heikes is our part time veterinarian that has been here for many years. She sees routine outpatient appointments, and she also teaches the Veterinarian EFE class at Vicksburg High School.

Pam Beilby-Miller, Hospital Manager
Pam is our hospital manager. She has worked here since 2013. She has worked in the veterinary field for 25 years as a technician. She has been a 4-H volunteer for 15 years.

Wendy Burr, Receptionist & Book keeper
Wendy has worked here since 1997. She works as receptionist, accounts rec/payable, book keeping, and other various office duties. Wendy has 5 cats at home and has lived in the area her whole life, growing up on a dairy farm.
She keeps busy attending her daughters Vicksburg Band events, scrapbooking, going to car shows, and metal detecting.

Kyllie Zeller, Receptionist
Kyllie started as a receptionist in late June 2017. She is a recent graduate of Vicksburg High School where she played softball and is also currently active on the South County Fire Department. She also coaches travel softball.

Cassie Lewis, LVT
Cassie is our licensed veterinary technician (LVT) who recently graduated from The MSU Veterinary Technology Program. In her spare time she enjoys working with and showing horses in both riding and driving disciplines, as well as volunteering as a 4-H leader in St. Joseph County. She is excited to start her career at Denney Veterinary Service and looks forward to meeting all the clients and patients.

Madden is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Madden graduated from Sanford-Brown College. She started with us in May of 2017. She is very fun and upbeat and very knowledgeable!

KC Preston, Veterinary Assistant
KC has been a technician 4 years here and also attends Western Michigan University majoring in biomedical science. She enjoys reading and pet sitting when she has free time. KC has 4 pets home which include a dog, 2 cats, and a bearded dragon.
Alayna Barrett, Vet Assistant/Receptionist
Alayna started with us in November of 2016. She is a Vicksburg graduate and has lived in the area most of her life. She enjoys spending time at home playing with her daughter. She has two rescued dogs at home named Max and Simba, and a rescued cat named Ruby.

Jessica was born and raised in Missouri and moved to Michigan 3 years ago. She has four dogs at home named Lulu, Blue, Shelby, and Parker. She has been a vet assistance September 2016.

Carmen Morren, Veterinary Assistant
Carmen started working here as a veterinary assistant in June 2017. She is very upbeat and excited to help any way she can. Carmen previously worked here through the Vicksburg EFE program through Vicksburg High School. Carmen has two dogs and one cat at home.
Mick is our 3 legged clinic cat. He lost his leg when curisity got the best of him and he climbed into a large exhaust fan. He was lucky! Mick loves greeting all humans and animals that come through the door. You can always know where he is with his loud mouthy greeting!

Rhy Rhy was a rescue that a quickly become part of our family. She is very lovable, and always looking for attention.

Telly is a rescue that has lived here as our clinic dog for about 4 years. She used to have a severe skin infection and was very obese, but she is back on track now!

Fallon is one of our clinic cats. She is blind, but gets around very well. For her safety, she is kept in the back. She is very cuddly and sweet. She loves dogs and pigs!

Teardrop is also one of our clinic critters. He lives in the kennel area to keep the boarding pets company. He is pretty quiet, and is a social eater! For some reason he will only eat if someone is there with him.
