Dr. Burr graduated vet school and began working here in 2010. He worked as a Veterinary Technician for 11 years prior to attending Vet School at Michigan State University. Dr. Burr has two Corgie dogs, named "Tater" and "Tot".

Dr. Stacy Y Denney, Veterinarian
Dr. Denney is the founder of Denney Veterinary Service. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1984. She worked as an associate veterinarian for 4 years before opening her own practice in 1988. Denney Veterinary Service was built at the current location in 1994. She is certified in animal acupuncture, herbal medicine, and massage through the Chi Institute.
Dr. Denney has many pets including 4 yorkshire terriers (Tinkerbell, Pixie, Shimmer, Sparkle), 2 very friendly golden retrievers (Noah & Hemi), an energetic standard poodle (Kennedy), and a rescued shitzu named Shitake. She also has one Tennessee Walker named Commander, 2 mini horses (Isabella & Molly Brown), and an adopted cat (Cinnamon). She enjoys camping and spending time with her grandson.

Dr. Heikes is our relief veterinarian that has been here for many years. She sees routine outpatient appointments, and she also teaches full time at the Veterinarian EFE class at Vicksburg High School.

Wendy Burr, Hospital Manager
Wendy has worked here since 1997. She attended KVCC and Glen Oaks University focusing on business and accounting, and is currently taking management courses. Wendy has 4 cats at home and has lived in the area her whole life, growing up on a dairy farm. She keeps busy, going to car shows, metal detecting, crafting, and raising Monarch butterflies.

Cassie Lewis, LVT
Cassie is one our licensed veterinary technician (LVT) who started here in 2016 and graduated from The MSU Veterinary Technology Program. In her spare time she enjoys working with and showing mini horses in both riding and driving disciplines, as well as volunteering as a 4-H leader in St. Joseph County.

Seira Fuller, Veterinary Technician
Seira joined our team in May 2019. She graduated from the Baker College Veterinary Technician program. Seira completed her EFE internship through Vicksburg High School Vet Science program here at the clinic back in 2016. She has two dogs, Rufus and Xerxes. She also has two cats; Peaches & Annie. Her hobbies include camping, going to the sand dunes of Lake Michigan and riding dirt bikes. She soon will be taking her board exam to become an LVT!

KC Preston, Veterinary Assistant
KC has been an assistant here since 2013. She enjoys reading. KC has 4 pets home which include a dog, 2 cats, and a bearded dragon.

Alayna Neusbaum, Reception/Vet Assistant
Alayna started here in November of 2016. She started out as a veterinary assistant and was later cross trained to the front desk. She has 2 rescued dogs; Max & Simba, 2 rescued cats; Ruby & Tanzy, 6 chickens, and 1 lion head rabbit named Fluffy. She is a busy mom of two and loves spending time with her husband & children.

Julie Brewington, Receptionist
Julie started here in July 2020 as a receptionist. She has a very happy and bubbly personality always willing and ready to help you when you call! She has two cats at home, Tillie and Captain Morgan. She enjoys spending time with her family & playing video games!

Jessica Rayl, Receptionist
Jessica used to work at Denney Vet back in 2017, moved away, and she's back! She worked here previously as a veterinary assistant, but now works on the front desk as a receptionist. She has 4 dogs at home. She also attends OTCC classes.
